Clarity is looking for an Information Security Candidate to join our Information Security team, supporting a diverse range of clients across the Channel Islands.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in cyber security, information assurance and risk management to develop their career within an established technology services business.
The role offers a varied combination of technical security, governance, compliance and client advisory work. Working alongside colleagues across our wider technical and professional services teams, you will help clients understand their information security risks, strengthen their security arrangements and meet their regulatory and compliance obligations.
We recognise that information security professionals come from a variety of backgrounds and are therefore open to considering candidates with different levels of experience. Whether you are looking to build on an existing technical background, develop your experience in information security consultancy or bring established expertise to the team, we are interested in hearing from you.
The position can be based in either our Guernsey or Jersey office, with some travel between the islands and on-site client-site visits expected.
The Role:
You will contribute to the delivery of practical, commercially appropriate security advice and services to our clients.
Your work will cover a broad range of information security activities, including:
· Security reviews and reporting: Reviewing security information, identifying potential risks and producing clear, meaningful reports and recommendations for clients, including senior management and boards.
· Governance, risk and compliance: Supporting clients with information security policies, risk assessments, audits and recognised assurance frameworks, including Cyber Essentials, IASME Cyber Assurance and ISO 27001.
· Security incidents and investigations: Assisting with the identification, investigation and management of cyber security incidents, including documenting findings and recommending improvements.
· Technical security and improvement: Working with colleagues and clients to review security controls, identify vulnerabilities and support improvements across systems, infrastructure and cloud environments.
· Client advice and engagement: Helping clients understand their security responsibilities and translating technical findings into practical actions that support their business needs.
This role provides the opportunity to work with a range of technologies, particularly Microsoft and its associated security platforms, while developing broader experience in information security management, regulatory compliance and cyber risk.
