De Putron Challenge

Sixth Formers, Year 8 and Year 6 students from Jersey’s and Guernsey’s schools and colleges will compete this November in the De Putron Challenge. The De Putron Challenge is a fun, friendly and educational quiz, run in a format similar to that of University Challenge. The winning teams receive money for their schools. This year the new quiz master is Bailiwick Express editor, Laura Clayton. She will ask the students questions on general knowledge, local history and culture and many more areas of expertise such as science, art and technology. The first challenge is being held in Guernsey on 5th November at St James, the second on 13th November in Jersey at the Royal Showground and then the Islands will compete in the Inter-Island final which is taking place in Jersey at The Grand Hotel on 21st November.

Year 8: 12.00pm-12.45pm
Post 16: 6.30pm- 7.00pm
