EnviroHERO present their gaming app

The game encourages people to get out and about and collect points for activities which will benefit the environment. Activities are all aligned to the themes of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and points are earnt for things like.g. reusing carrier bags, completing a beach clean, donating to charity or visiting a charity shop, taking the bus instead of driving etc….The possibilities are endless!

It’s important to emphasise that this is a not for profit initiative; the EnviroHERO team are doing this as a hobby, and have already reinvested the hackathon prize money into ongoing hosting for the app.

EnviroHERO are really keen to showcase their idea to as many people and organisations as possible, in particular charities and environmental groups who could really benefit from the app
