Calligo shortlisted for "MSP of the Year" in the Computing's Cloud Excellence Awards 2019

Posted: Friday 19 July 2019

Calligo has been recognized for its innovative Cloud and IT Managed Services & is a finalist in industry award.

We’re pleased to announce that Calligo has been named as one of the finalists in the “MSP of the Year” category of Computing’s Cloud Excellence Awards 2019.

The judges shortlisted Calligo’s submission on account of its rapid transformation over the last few years from a local cloud service provider into a global Managed Service Provider (MSP) with data optimisation services including Cloud and IT Managed Services, Data Privacy Consultancy, and AI and Machine Learning.

Judges were also keen to see evidence of the quality of our service delivery. Included in the award entry was one of our customer case studies, Bateman MacKay, where we demonstrated how our Cloud and IT Managed Services transformed a Canadian CPA. The delivered services included a complex cloud migration, executed with zero downtime, an Office 365 deployment, plus one of the first cloud deployments in Canada of popular accounting platforms, CaseWare and Taxprep. The case study also showcased the additional advantages that our services include, such as our Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO). This was a particularly vital service for Bateman MacKay as the cybersecurity consultancy and cybersecurity awareness training we delivered protected them from a major attack that affected many of their competitors.

This has already been a fantastic year for industry recognition. Last month, we were ranked amongst the world’s top 100 Managed Service Providers by Channel Futures on their MSP501 List. Plus, Calligo’s marketing team won the “Marketing Strategy of the Year” award at Computing’s Tech Marketing & Innovations Awards 2019.

The winners of the Cloud Excellence Awards will be announced on the 19th of September at the Hilton Bridge Hotel, London. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed!
