Clients of The Refinery – Comsure Group has launched a pioneering Jersey centric eLearning service which has been tailored to the local financial services industry.

Andrew Webb STEP ITM (Dip) and Certified Member Chartered Banker Institute has expanded his role (as a Compliance analyst) within Comsure by heading up Comsure’s Professional Development Solutions. This occurs at an exciting time for Comsure as the company launches its pioneering Jersey centric eLearning service tailored to the local financial services industry.

Mr Webb’s new position has been created to lead the new knowledge department and provide an eLearning service to the local financial services industry. By leading the way in locally designed, e-Learning software, the Directors of Comsure Group are responding to growing client demand for online tools. Their products feature everything from off the shelf AML modules to bespoke packages tailored to individual business needs.

Alongside Andrews’s wealth of experience that spans 25 years in financial services, principally as a practitioner within compliance and the trust sector, he has recently qualified as a trainer and teacher in the lifelong learning sector through Highlands College.

As the longest established dedicated professional “Compliance and Risk” support company in Jersey, Comsure has provided dedicated face to face training.  With the addition of a jersey-centric eLearning solution, locally based professionals will now be able to develop their careers and stay abreast of compliance and business matters at a time and place to suit them.

Mathew Beale, Managing Director, Comsure, commented:

‘With this unique eLearning expansion Andrew will continue to be a valuable asset to Comsure.  I envisage Comsure’s Professional Development Solutions to continue to grow as Jersey financial service regulation increases and Professionals need to refresh their skills and pursue a path of professional development. Bespoke eLearning will provide a flexible service in our local market which is differs from the off the shelf solutions that are developed with local knowledge. Simply it will really revolutionize the way our clients handle training and I am excited for what is on offer.’

Andrew Webb, Compliance & CPD Analyst , Comsure, added:

‘I look forward to working with Comsure clients old and new in this new area. Our objective is to ensure that Jersey specific, practical knowledge and relevant expertise is shared with a widest possible audience: From new starters needing AML awareness training through to meeting the needs of senior managers and the board”.

Comsure’s e-learning supports and compliments Comsure’s CPD face to face training by providing a 21st century tool that aids and reinforces learning attainment. A great solution for both Jersey employers and employees alike. Particularly as it is cost effective and provides greater flexibility as to where and when learning takes place.
