C5 Alliance welcome the news that the new version of gov.je, the official website of the States of Jersey, has achieved the number one position for the first time ever in the latest Sitemorse UK Local Government Quarterly Index.
C5 Alliance worked on the eGovernment project in collaboration with other local technology experts including MalletCrane, SwitchDigital, E-scape, Webreality and independent consultant Melissa Chester. The team sought inspiration from some of the best government sites in world and designed the new website with a focus on clarity, user-friendly design, usability for those with disabilities and functionality on mobile and tablet devices.
The Sitemorse UK Local Government Quarterly Index assessed 424 Local Government departments, awarding gov.je the overall top ranking score of 9.34 out of 10, based on the websites' functionality, accessibility, code quality, performance, email address validity and metadata.
