Following assessment by QMS International, C5 Alliance’s Jersey IT Services at Rue Des Pres are now certified in the international standards of Information Security Management, ISO/IEC 27001, and IT Service Management, ISO/IEC 20000-1. C5 Alliance is one of very few Jersey businesses to have reached both standards of excellence in IT Service Management.

ISO/IEC 27001 stipulates a set of security controls that have become standard practice in the UK. To meet the standard, businesses must demonstrate considered assessment of the risks surrounding information security and implement policies and processes to ensure optimum data security. It is a stringent standard to reach, requiring physical and digital security of a global standard.

ISO/IEC 20000-1 measures the quality of a business’ service management and the value it provides to customers. By reaching the standard, C5 Alliance Jersey has demonstrated the high quality of its customer processes and procedures. The standard looks, among other areas, at service delivery processes, relationship management, resolution rates and control processes.
