Executive Chairman of Digital Jersey Paul Masterton welcomes new ministerial support.
Commenting on the announcement that Senator Philip Ozouf has been elected as Assistant Chief Minister, responsible for Financial Services, Digital Technology, Competition & Innovation in all respects locally and internationally, Executive Chairman of Digital Jersey, Paul Masterton stated:
"The Economic Development Department have been instrumental in establishing Digital Jersey as an organisation and I would like to personally thank Senator Maclean for his support over the last 2 years.
We are extremely encouraged that the Chief Minister and States Members have recognised the importance of the digital sector and made provision for this new level of ministerial input. Senator Ozouf's track record of championing other industries at an international level is exceptional, and I have every confidence that we will make significant progress with his skills and ability to support us.
