Transatlantic Collaboration

Posted: 17/06/2019

Following on from Digital Jersey’s recent successful trip with the Government of Jersey External Relations Team to the US of A, a trans-atlantic video conference with the New Jersey Tech Council was set up between New Jersey and Digital Jersey as an opportunity to further open up the lines of communication, introductions and recommendations to transatlantic dialogues for future potential digital collaborations, and thus contributing to ‘start up’ communities between Europe and the US.

This conference was designed to raise awareness, develop partnerships and create mutual opportunities within the digital sector.

During the presentation, each jurisdiction gave an overview of their sector, followed by 3 or 4 presentations from ambitious and innovative new businesses on both sides.

The Digital Jersey businesses that presented have since provided positive feedback with talk about possibilities of collaborating with each other, networking and increasing visibility in the future.

Both Digital Jersey and New Jersey are committed to further conferences allowing a much wider opportunity for digital businesses to come together on finding common areas which is integral to strengthening the transatlantic digital economy.

Stay tuned for details of the next conference.
